Tried to uninstall MySQL however that too requires a password.sudo mysqld_safe -skip-grant-tables, which requires a password I do not know, I have tried using the temporary password and left it blank, still doesn't work.To resolve this, you either need to change the password with mysql client that can do it or rebuild your instance of Connector/C++ against mysql client library that supports resetting of an expired password. Your instance of Connector/C++ is not linked against mysql client library that allows to change it. I have tried inputting the password in and according the client, the password has expired, thus I cannot log in to the root user and I have no idea of the idea.
